Rock & Brews terminal 1 opened in 2016 as part of the newly developed terminal and has excited Southwest airlines travelers with a one of a kind music experience designed to engage their senses with concert style music, energetic contemporary musician inspired art ambiance, comfortable food, and cold drinks. Rock & Brews adds a localized Los Angeles experience that allows travelers to enjoy the best of the local music scene by featuring Los Angeles concert venues (Staples Center, Hollywood Bowl, Greek Theater, The Forum, etc.), also highlighting LA musicians’ music and art, while serving up LA’s contemporary culinary favorites. Rock & Brews, founded in El Segundo California with roots beginning at LAX, now operates in multiples states throughout the USA.
The menu features favorite American foods made from scratch with natural ingredients that have the appeal of bar food with the quality ingredients and chef driven preparations. The menu spans across all day service, starting with a breakfast selection of fresh made steel cut oatmeal, open faced croissants, and breakfast burritos . Rounding out lunch and dinner Rock & Brews offers their hand crafted burgers made from all natural meat, “Headliner” Sandwiches like the Yellow Submarine sandwich, and the famous “Front Row” pizzas that come in a gluten-free option. The gourmet spin on sought after bar food results in a mouth watering and hunger satisfying menu, the Rock & Brews bar is what sets the brand apart. Rock & Brews street locations offer almost 50 unique tapped beers. Rock & Brews airport locations pairs down the offering to the top 16 tap beers from well-known domestic and international brands, as well local California micro-brewed beers and micro-distilled spirits from California.
Rock & Brews always feature between 15 to 20 flat screen monitors that stream sports and concerts from travelers’ favorite bands from around the world. The diverse demographics of LAX passengers from all over the world can enjoy the music they know and love, in an concert experience like no other with a fabulous meal and beer, glass of wine or cocktail before boarding their flight. Rock & Brews partnership with Gene Simmons, the world famous bass player of the iconic, multiplatinum selling rock n’ roll band KISS and television personality, further makes Rock & Brews rise above other themed bar/restaurant concepts.
