Charlie Zhang, a Chinese immigrant moved to the U.S. in 1982. He would come to open a restaurant that satisfied the American taste for flavorful Chinese food that was fast and wok’d to order with fresh ingredients. Thus, the first Pick Up Stix restaurant was opened in 1989 in Rancho Santa Margarita, California and since become a leader in the fast casual Asian food segment with 70 + locations. Built for speed with the most popular and seasonal items on display in an upscale gourmet steam-table setting, passengers select from a variety of options on display, without the wait.

Pick Up Stix uses fresh, premium ingredients to prepare signature dishes such as House Chicken, Grilled Bourbon Chicken, Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Shrimp. On a daily basis, Pick Up Stix caters to those passengers who desire fresh vegetables by offering chicken, shrimp, and beef vegetable stir-fry with bold flavors and great taste!
